Virtue

Virtue is a biblically-based program for women who have used abusive or controlling behaviors, and may be victims of abuse.

Classes focus on

  • learning about domestic abuse
  • healing from past abuse
  • stopping all forms of abusive behaviors
  • gaining new tools for conflict resolution
  • learning new boundary-setting skills

Using these skills will enhance self-esteem and the opportunity for healthy relationships.

Virtue groups run approximately 36 weeks plus an intake and exit interview. Classes meet in Clackamas, Portland and Hillsboro, OR.

Requirements

Participants must

  • attend regularly
  • pay all fees
  • show an understanding of the core contents of the Virtue program
  • accept responsibility for negative behaviors
  • pass random drug tests if required
  • complete all assignments
